FAQ

Questions people ask before they begin.

Is my information really private?

Yes. Your vault is encrypted at rest and in transit, and only the people you designate can ever access it.

Who will have access to my vault?

Only the executor and recipients you designate, after a verified vault opening process you control.

When will my messages be delivered?

Messages are delivered on the dates and triggers you choose, with built-in safeguards so nothing is sent prematurely.

What can my executor(s) actually access?

Your executor(s) may access your preparations lists, final wishes, eulogy materials, stories you've designated for executor access, will and trust blueprints, uploaded legal documentation, and your delivery coordination tools. Everything they need to help carry your wishes forward.

What does my executor actually do?

Your executor(s) are trusted individuals you select to help coordinate preparations, delivery instructions, and any authorized future-release instructions you've left in your vault. They never replace you. They only honor what you've prepared.

Can I assign more than one executor?

Yes. You may assign one executor and, optionally, one co-executor. The co-executor provides backup support so the right people are responsible when it matters.

Can messages be tied to life milestones instead of fixed dates?

Yes. Some future releases don't need to be tied to fixed calendar dates. Your executor(s) can coordinate delivery during important life moments, such as weddings, graduations, the birth of a grandchild, or other meaningful milestones you've described in your vault.

Will my executor see my private messages to other people?

No. Executors are never automatically given access to recipient-only messages, Chosen Moments Messages intended for others, Keepsake Messages intended for specific individuals, or any private recipient-directed content, unless you specifically authorize it as the vault owner.
